Estrella Foothills High School, which opened in August of 2001, is located within the Estrella community. The school, which is part of the Buckeye Union High School District, currently serves approximately 1050 students in grades 9 – 12. Estrella Foothills is designated as Highly Performing by the Arizona Department of Education.

At Estrella Foothills, students benefit from a block schedule that allows them to complete the necessary coursework required for high school graduation and university entrance, while still having time to take desired electives. Advanced Placement, honors, and dual enrollment courses are available in the areas of English, Mathematics, History, Science, and Spanish. The Career and Technical Education programs on campus include Business Management, Culinary Arts, Drafting Technologies, Allied Health, and Fire Science. Dance, drama, music, and visual arts provide even more options for students during the academic day.

In addition, students at Estrella Foothills have the opportunity to participate in a variety of athletics and club activities as part of the Wolf Pack. Estrella Foothills currently competes in the Arizona Interscholastic Association West Region of the 3A Conference.
