Youngker High School, which opened in August of 2007, is located just off Watson Road and Lower Buckeye, south of Interstate 10 (approximately 1 mile south). The primary road to the school is on Lower Buckeye which is exactly one mile south of Yuma Road.

The school, which is part of the Buckeye Union High School District , currently serves 1000 students in grade 9,10, and 11th . Youngker High school has been labeled Highly Performing by the Department of Education. Our AIM’s scores were among the highest in the Valley.

At Youngker, students benefit from the block schedule that allows them to complete the necessary coursework required for high school graduation and entrance to state universities, while still having time to take desired electives. Honors classes offered are in Anatomy / Physiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, History, English, Science and Spanish. AP Classes offered are in: Literature and Composition, US History, Spanish, and Chemistry. Career and Technical Education classes include: Sports Medicine, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Woods, Drafting, Business Management, Diesel Mechanic and Cosmetology.

In addition, students at Youngker have the opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic and club activities as part of the RoughRider experience.

Youngker is currently competing in the Arizona Interscholastic Association 4A Skyline Division.
