Good Afternoon. Today Buckeye Union was notified of a potential threat. Established procedures were implemented, with the first step being contacting the Buckeye Police Department through our school resource officer and initiating lockdown. In going through the procedures, further investigation determined that the threat was not credible and by direction of the Buckeye Police we transitioned to regular school activities.

2/15 Attention juniors & seniors: The Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Institute at ASU is offering a one week leadership camp where you can participate in higher education activities, leadership development and community engagement while living on the ASU campus. The camp is from Jun 3 – 9 and the application deadline is March 15th. The program is free and includes: all meals, workshops, training materials; lodging, recreational activities and transportation for off-campus field trips during the program. 2/15 Attention Seniors: The U of A Office of Admissions is hosting an event in Phoenix for students to learn about funding their U of A education. Students can join us to hear about the resources and tools available to assist them in funding their U of A education. Attendees will learn more about the scholarship opportunities for future Wildcats, gain a better understanding of the true costs associated with a U of A education, and get answers to financial aid questions. The event is Wednesday, Feb. 21st from 6-8pm at the Health Sciences Education Building located at 435 N. 5th St. in downtown Phoenix.
