9/12 Anyone interested in joining FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) we will have our 1st meeting of the year at 7am in Miss Fox’s room on Thursday 9/14/17.

 

9/15 Attention Seniors - The Honors College at the University of Arizona is excited to host Preview Day in Phoenix! Students will discover the Honors College, hear from an alumni speaker, meet current students, and learn how to become an Honors Wildcat. The event is Sept 23rdfrom 1pm to 3pm at the Virginia G. Piper Auditorium on Van Buren Street in Downtown Phoenix.  RSVP by Sept. 15th at honors@email.arizona.edu.

9/11 All girls interested in playing Basketball this year there will be a meeting immediately after school on Tuesday September 12th in room 603.

 

9/11 Blood Drive – The fall blood drive is getting very close.  It is next Tuesday, only one week from tomorrow.  Please get minor donor permits turned in to Mrs. Schultz so you can get on the schedule.  18 year olds, you can just stop by her room, 609, and get right on the schedule.  Remember, donating blood is a great way to make a difference, to help out with blood supplies diminished by recent weather disasters, and to remember to pay tribute to those who were lost on 9/11.  Be a part of your community and of something positive.  Make a difference and donate blood.

 

9/11 Anyone interested in playing TENNIS this season will meet at 7am in Mr. Maier’s room before school on Thursday 9/14/17.

 

9/11 Educator’s Rising will meet on Friday 9/15 at 7:05 in Mr. Maier’s room!

 

9/11 Girls Soccer open field is THIS THURSDAY 9/14 from 3-4pm. be sure to have all paperwork turned in to participate. See Mr. Maier for more info!

 

9/12 Interact Club Hurricane Harvey Fundraiser- After an amazingly close race between Mr. Pelka and Mr. Wahlstrom’s wolf dens, the winner is in! The wolf den receiving a pizza party next week is Mr. Wahlstrom’s wolf den, bringing in $123.22! Thank you to everybody in the school that donated, we brought in $924.02 that will directly benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey!

 

9/13 Homecoming Royalty: Homecoming is fast approaching, and it is time to nominate your classmates for Homecoming Royalty. Check your email on Thursday for instructions, and follow them to nominate one guy and one girl from your grade level to make the Homecoming ballot. Nominations close on Tuesday, September 19th, the ballot will be released later that week, and voting will take place Homecoming Week.

 

9/22 West-MEC is once again offering Dual Enrollment opportunities for students at Estrella Foothills.  With over 29 programs, West-MEC continues to grow and prepare students for careers after high school. Applications for the 2018-2019 school year will be available October 2nd, 2017.  For more information, please see Miss. Rodrigues in the Counseling Office.
