Do you need some extra help in your classes? Starting Friday August 20th on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday head to the library and you can get some extra help for your classes.
Do you love cookies? Cupcakes? Then this contest is for you! When our soldiers serve, so do their dogs! Bring in supplies for the military dogs overseas. The class that brings in the most will win a “sweet treat” at the end of the month. This contest will go on all year, so you have a new chance to win each month! Let’s drum up a friendly competition while helping our 4 pawed soldiers! See Ms. Buquicchio in room 3106 for more details!
Do you think you have the cutest pet? PROVE IT!! Enter the “Cutest Pet Contest”. Email a picture of your pet to Ms. Buquicchio between August 20 – Sept 7th. It is $1 to enter. Information about voting and winning will be announced after the entries have been received. ANYONE can enter. So, if you have friends or family who think they have the cutest pet, have them enter!
Do you LOVE animals? Do you want to help them? Then join the new club, “Hands For Paws”. Members will work to raise awareness of the needs of animals, collect donations for local shelters and help to create initiative to present to local legislatures in order to try to get laws passed that will protect animals.
“Hands For Paws” will meet every Tuesday after school in room 3106 with Ms. Buquicchio.
If you’re interested in trying out for the girls basketball team for this year, feel free to come to open gym to put in work and get ready for season. It will be held every day at 6pm to 8pm.
