Welcome to the Technical Theatre Program! This exciting three-level course is designed for students who are passionate about the behind-the-scenes magic that brings live performances to life. Throughout the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience in set design, lighting, sound, stage management, costuming, and production technology. As you progress, you’ll develop the technical skills and creative problem-solving needed to support a variety of performances and events. At the practicum level, students play a vital role in running all shows and events held at the school’s Performing Arts Center, gaining real-world experience in a professional theatre environment. Whether you’re interested in theatre production, event tech, or live entertainment, this program will help you build a strong foundation for a future in the performing arts industry.

• Train on, control, and utilize state-of-the-art technical-theatre industry equipment in lighting, sound, set, props, and costuming

• Participate in various types of fine arts events and performances as staff, crew, crew chiefs, or designers
