Buckeye Union High School District is proud to recognize Ms. Ashley Wiseman of Buckeye Union High School as the first teacher selected through the City of Buckeye’s “Tools for Teachers” initiative.
Dr. Steven Bebee and the BUHS administration were pleased to welcome Councilman Jamaine Berry and members of the City of Buckeye team to campus to present Ms. Wiseman with the award, which provides educators with $250 worth of classroom supplies to support student learning.
Ms. Wiseman was selected following numerous nominations and recommendations submitted by students and parents who recognized her dedication, positive impact, and commitment to supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. As part of the award, she received an organizer cart and additional classroom supplies that were included on her teacher wishlist.
The City of Buckeye launched the quarterly “Tools for Teachers” program to recognize educators who go above and beyond for their students while helping provide essential classroom resources. Community members are encouraged to continue nominating outstanding teachers who make a difference in Buckeye schools every day.
Buckeye Union High School District appreciates the City of Buckeye and its continued partnership in supporting local schools, teachers, and students.
